Quick Start Guide – LaserKube-X

1. Unpacking

1. Package contents :
   • LaserKube-X.
   • Power supply + cord and USB cable.
   • Shutter” key to activate the laser.
   • USB key containing :
     • LightBurn software.
     • Documentation and license.
     • Certificate of conformity.
   • Set of screws (M4) and studs for installation.
2. Precautions :
   • Unpack in a clean, stable area.
   • Keep the packaging for future returns.

2. Installation

1. Location:
   • Place LaserKube-X on a flat, solid surface capable of supporting 14 kg.
   • Ensure easy access to a 230V earthed socket.
2. Connections :
   • Connect the mains adapter to the rear of the machine and to a wall socket.
   • Connect the USB cable to the machine and computer.

3. First start-up

1. Check cable connections and condition.
2. Unlock emergency stop (turn clockwise).
3. Press the START button (lights up blue).
4. Activate the laser system by turning the “Shutter” key to ON (green “ACTIVE” light on).
5. Install an air extraction system before marking.

4. LightBurn software installation

1. Preparation:
   • Insert the USB key.
   • Run the installation file (included on the USB key).
   • Install the necessary drivers (check EZCad2 drivers – used by galvos).
2. Configuration :
   • Import the configuration file from the USB stick into LightBurn. Configure Lightburn Pro for Laserkube-X.
   • Change the language via the “Language” menu if necessary.

5. Machine operation

1. Ignition :
   • Make sure the area is clear of flammable materials.
   • Check cables and connectors.
   • Launch LightBurn software and select LaserKube-X.
2. Focus :
   • Adjust (with the knob on top of the machine) the marking head to merge the two red dots into one.
3. Switching off :
   • Close LightBurn software.
   • Turn the “Shutter” key to OFF.
   • Unplug the power supply or press the emergency stop button.

6. Security

• Never disassemble the machine.
• Restrict access to trained personnel.
• Use an air handling system to prevent the accumulation of fumes and particles.
